Antalya Introduction

Antalya, situated on Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast, also known as the Turkish Riviera, is rich in history and enjoys a superb year-round climate. It’s an ancient city with an atmospheric old quarter, a busy harbour and some beautiful, traditional Turkish architecture. The backdrop to Antalya, the majestic Taurus mountains with their pine-scented forests, rising to 10,000 feet, are as stunning as Antalya’s attractive restaurant-lined sea front.

Why Choose Antalya?

There’s something for everyone in and around Antalya. Apart from the superb climate, there’s the fabulous harbour, great shopping, vibrant nightlife and, on either side of the city, a selection of sandy beaches with crystal clear waters. Some hotels are on the centrally located Mermeli beach whilst others overlook the lovely Lara beach, some 6 kms from the city. And Antalya’s international airport is only 10 kms away.

Best Time to Travel
