Golf Holidays in Tunisia: Where to Play Near Our Resorts

Tunisia's east coast has several golf courses within easy reach of its beach resorts, so a week in the sun can include a few rounds. This guide shows where the courses are in relation to the resorts we sell, so you can choose where to stay.

The resort is planned around a 36-hole golf course and a marina. El Mouradi Palace faces the course and is on the beach, so it suits a golfer who also wants the sea on the doorstep. Other hotels in the resort are a short distance from the course.

Two courses are about 6 km from El Mouradi Hammamet: Yasmine Golf with 27 holes and Citrus Golf with 45 holes. That gives you a choice of layouts without changing hotel, and the hotels here are on the sea front.

The Monastir area has two 18-hole courses that wind between palms and olive groves. Skanes is the shortest transfer from Monastir airport among our resorts, which helps if you want to be on the course soon after landing.

Gammarth is a hotel zone on the coast north of Tunis with its own golf course. It is close to Carthage and the village of Sidi Bou Said, so it suits a golf break that also includes some sightseeing.

1. Ask whether green fees and tee times are included. Our package price covers your flights, hotel board and transfer, so golf is normally an extra to arrange with the hotel or the course.
2. Check club hire and dress code if you are not bringing your own clubs.
3. Think about the season: summer afternoons are hot, so early tee times are popular.
4. Check your airline's rules for carrying golf bags before you fly.
